Grrr.....Oh.

Well, I took a look and saw that my last blog was about the advent of spring, so I'm writing a new one in a vain attempt to keep up to date. What has been going on? Since that last blog, well, summer never came. I think it's payback for all those "Alaskans for global warming" bumper stickers you see here in Anchorage. Or perhaps the universe hates Al Gore. Hey, it's possible. Football season is back! As a lifelong Seahawks fan, i'm getting that old feeling from my youth as I see my favorite NFL team suck it up like the did many years ago. This is not the same Seahawks team that made it to the superbowl a few seasons back only to lose at the hands of The Steelers (tho the referees had more to do with their loss than Jerome Bettis if you ask me). It is the Seahawks of old, the team that fails with spectacular results. They have won only one game so far this season, and they beat the Rams so it doesn't even count. Oh, and we got a super-huge PFD this year! I spent half on credit card bills and the other half on a weekend in Las Vegas. Thanks Sarah Palin
