No more Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer? A 50-year Christmas holiday tradition has come to an end at CBS.

For the first time in 50 years, the claymation holiday classic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer won’t be shown on CBS.  Good news though, the special is going back to NBC this year after making its debut on the network on December 6, 1964.

Rudolph’s nose will shine bright on NBC on Friday, December 6 at 7 p.m. with an encore presentation on December 12.
