WASHINGTON, DC – MAY 09: The famous Apple symbol is kept minimal on the outside the new Apple Carnegie Library May 09, 2019 in Washington, DC. Apple hopes the $30 million rehab of the 116-year-old library will do more than sell iPhones. The space will host events, exhibit local artists and house the D.C. History Center in partnership with the nonprofit Historical Society of Washington. (Photo by Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images)
The latest from Rolling Stone says the computer meg-overlords Apple will be canceling iTunes, the digital service that crippled the CD business in the mid 2000’s.
Another says Apple with be phasing out the one-time digital media giant for separate apps for Music, Video, and Podcasts, all while bringing back the iPod.
If Apple gets its way, I’ll never buy another $1.29 song ever again.
