YouTuber MrBeast Accused Of Unsafe Set Conditions
MrBeast aka Jimmy Donaldson, is the king of YouTube with 308 million subscribers, and now has a show called Beast Games with Amazon and MGM Studios boasting a $5 million dollar grand prize.
But now he’s facing criticism over on-set complications on that show. NBC News’ Chloe Melas spoke with YouTube creator Rosanna Pansino who shared her experiences from a previous MrBeast show and is trying to expose the alleged chaos behind the scenes of the latest production. She says he’s not the same person on camera as off camera, and has created a space on TikTok for other competitors to share their experiences.

Pansino says she has heard from 200 contestants who reported not being able to have access to needed medication or food for upwards of 10 hours during casting calls. Injuries and hospitalizations were also reported. One contestant known as William said Donaldson appeared frustrated at the complications and attempted to get access to food. Donaldson’s team is also denying the allegations.
