KFQD Interview: National Crime Victims’ Rights Week

National Crime Victims’ Rights Week is April 18th-24th – a recognition and remembrance of violent crime victims. It is being commemorated in Anchorage by the advocacy group Victims for Justice with a series of events, including a Tree Ceremony Monday at noon at Hostetler Park. Due to the pandemic, in-person events are being replaced by online sessions. Victoria Shanklin, Victims for Justice Executive Director, spoke with KFQD about the week’s events.
